Volunteers Battle Rain to Spruce up Skyway Business District

  Event    West Hill Action Mob

by Devin Chicras

On April 17th, 2018, litter and weedy, overgrown planting strips along Renton Avenue South in the Skyway Business District were absolutely no match for our fourteen brave volunteers – not even in the chilly, pouring rain.

Maybe it was the free Nevzat’s Espresso, or maybe it was the healthy snacks and broad arsenal of tools. But most likely it was because WHAM volunteers are some of the very best around. At the end of the day, we packed THIRTY giant contractor bags full of weeds and litter.
