Forty Volunteers Powered First Skyway Park Restoration Event of 2023

Our first Skyway Park restoration event of 2023 brought together about 40 hardworking volunteers who cleared 132 gallons of trash and four cubic yards of blackberry in just three hours. Not only is the park cleaner and safer for neighbors to enjoy, but cleaning up the wetlands means a safer, healthier route for young salmon downstream.

WHAM Spring Cleanup in Skyway Park a Success

There was a little change of scenery for the Annual West Hill Action Mob (WHAM) Spring Cleanup this year. Instead of focusing primarily on litter pickup along the streets, the whole event moved down to beautiful Skyway Park, a nearly hidden, under-appreciated and much under-used gem in the heart of Skyway.
