At August’s epic Skyway Park Takeover, we found out what happens when 500 neighbors run wild across 23 acres full of free food, ice cream, sports and activities, live entertainment, and a furry human-sized otter. Thank you to all of our friends who made this day special.

Much gratitude goes out to our partners at King County Parks who helped make us make this incredible event a reality. All photos courtesy of our Skyway neighbor, the brilliant Nikki Barron.

Like having a more engaged, informed and vibrant community? You can make a huge impact by joining your neighbors in giving $5 or more a month to the leanest, hardest working all-volunteer nonprofit in the neighborhood.
