More than 450 voters used the Skyway Library ballot drop box on Election Day (August 4, 2026), and your volunteer-powered West Hill Community Association was there to support and cheer them on.
From ballot reprints and envelope replacements to helping folks navigate last minute questions like same-day registration, showed up in the smoke and heat with costumes, loud cheers, candy, and voting swag.
Volunteers Erika and Mary joined WHCA members Devin, Greg, and Joel to brave the conditions so we can make sure our neighbors are heard (even if it’s a little hard for us to talk very loud today).
Big thanks to our librarian team for helping with FREE reprints! Shout out to the King County Elections closing crew, Naheed and Bianca, for making sure the process ran smoothly and helping keep the positive energy up nonstop. KCE and Seattle Foundation also help support this work through the Voter Education Fund!
Like having a more engaged, informed and vibrant community? You can make a huge impact by joining your neighbors in giving $5 or more a month to the leanest, hardest working all-volunteer nonprofit in the neighborhood.
