Over 400 Neighbors Pack Annual Halloween Takeover Party in Skyway

  WHCA Event

by Devin Chicras

On Monday, October 28th, 2019, we took over the Lucky Dragonz event space at Skyway Park Bowl and turned it into the wildest Halloween Party around for over FOUR HUNDRED AWESOME NEIGHBORS.

Our third year in a row hosting a free community Halloween party, the line was already out the door 15 minutes before we opened.

Once the doors flung open, we tore up the dancefloor with DJ E Free, decorated mini locally-grown pumpkins, and braved the disgusting Mad Lab Challenge.

We got printed photo booth keepsakes to remember how awesome our costumes were.

Check out all the great costumes in these 96 photo booth snaps by Derek Johnson Photographic right here.

We loaded up our bags along the Treat Trail, lined with decorated booths featuring local community organizations and businesses.

And we voted on who had the best booth (congrats, Skyway Solutions, on your trophy!).

Attendees gather at the end of the event for a special screening of “Hocus Pocus” – the first-ever “Skyway Indoor Cinema”

We witnessed the FIRST EVER Skyway Indoor Cinema on a brand new 12′ screen: Hocus Pocus!

Some of us took advantage of the extended Happy Hour and cheap Cosmic Bowling deals.

Thank you to everyone for coming, and to our sponsors, volunteers, and donors for making things like this possible!
