Forty Volunteers Powered First Skyway Park Restoration Event of 2023

Our first Skyway Park restoration event of 2023 brought together about 40 hardworking volunteers who cleared 132 gallons of trash and four cubic yards of blackberry in just three hours. Not only is the park cleaner and safer for neighbors to enjoy, but cleaning up the wetlands means a safer, healthier route for young salmon downstream.

Huge thanks to all of the volunteers, King County Parks crew (especially Volunteer Program Coordinator Crescent Calimpong and assistant Sarah Sutherland) for leading the effort.

Don’t miss another one – if you’re not afraid to get your hands dirty for a good cause (or just like making a difference and a new friend or two), be sure to sign up for West Hill Action Mob Alerts!
