Screening and Panel: The Right to Read

The Right to Read shares the stories of an NAACP activist, a teacher and two American families who fight to provide our youngest generation with the most foundational indicator of life-long success: the ability to read.
A panel discussion will follow the screening with:
- Jenny Mackenzie, Emmy-Award-winning documentary filmmaker
- Tanisha Brandon-Felder, Shoreline School District Director of Equitable Leadership, Pedagogy and Family Engagement
- Karen Kline, Teacher-Librarian in the Issaquah School District
