UPDATE: SUBMISSIONS CLOSED. VOTE ON YOUR FAVORITE DESIGNS BY SUNDAY, 9/20, 11:59 p.m. ON FACEBOOK.
Send in your design or a short phrase by 9/15 – if the community picks yours, we’ll turn it into a stencil and create some rain-activated surprises on sidewalks around the neighborhood.
We’ll be using Rainworks Invisible Spray, which is an eco-friendly water-repelling formula which is undetectable on a dry sidewalk, but reveals a work of art once the area around it dampens and darkens.
The art will last 2-4 months, and we’ll start by placing three of them (as voted on by the community from September 16-18) in locations around Skyway-West Hill.
This is a project of West Hill Community Association’s West Hill Action Mob, an effort to make our shared backyard a brighter, cleaner, safer, and more vibrant place for all.
TWO OPTIONS FOR SUBMITTING:
Artistic? Upload a file with your design.
Poetic? Simply type a short phrase instead.
Like having a more engaged, informed and vibrant community? You can make a huge impact by joining your neighbors in giving $5 or more a month to the leanest, hardest working all-volunteer nonprofit in the neighborhood.
