Help Create Recommendations for Preventing Displacement and increasing affordable housing in Skyway-West Hill and North Highline!
You’re invited to the discussion on Saturday, January 30th from 1 to 1:30 p.m. – Register today.
King County’s Department of Community and Human Services and Department of Local Services are co-hosting a virtual Anti-Displacement Recommendations Discussion for residents of Skyway-West Hill and North Highline, as a follow up to the recently completed Anti-Displacement workshop series.
At the Anti-Displacement Recommendations Discussion, King County will give an overview of the 12 anti-displacement strategies currently being explored by the County and how they might work together. Residents will have the majority of the meeting to discuss the strategies and develop recommendations and priorities, including additional ideas the community would like the County to consider.
It will be important that participants have reviewed the content of the Anti-Displacement workshops in advance of this session. You can watch the recorded Anti-Displacement workshops online. Other helpful resources explaining the strategies being discussed are available here.
We hope you will join this important meeting and please share this opportunity with other folks who live and work in Skyway-West Hill and North Highline!
