Can you top the winners of West Hill Community Association’s 2021 Halloween Spirit Contest? The following neighbors earned some pretty sweet trophies and bragging rights: 3rd Place, Mia Horberg; 2nd Place, Nora and Clark Weitkamp; 1st Place, Hilt Avila.

That’s right – Halloween Takeover is back!

Mark your calendar for Thursday, October 27, 2022 at 6 p.m. at Skyway Park Bowl‘s Lucky Dragonz event space (11819 Renton Avenue South, Seattle, WA 98178). You can easily add the event to your personal calendar (including Google, Apple, and Outlook) from our website, or join the event on Facebook for updates.

Doors open at 6 p.m. – get your free bag and fill it up along our Treat Trail, decorate a mini pumpkin, brave the Mad Lab, shake it to DJ MIXX America, pose for endless photo ops in your costume (including a real hearse and coffin!), get a piece of custom twisted balloon art, and more.

At 7 p.m., Magic Rich the magician will take the stage!

Ahoy Matey! Come join Captain Sammy Seaweed of the “Dancing Dachshund”, the most magical pirate of Puget Sound. He will be performing his special Pirate Show. Watch as he demonstrates how to make a Jolly Roger and uses pieces of a magic map to find his way home. It’s sure to be a lot of fun!!

At 8 p.m., grab a seat and settle in for Skyway Indoor Cinema’s first-ever 3D movie experience. Watch your favorite characters from Nightmare Before Christmas pop out of the screen and sing along to “This is Halloween” with us!

Bowling, food, and drinks available for purchase.

Do you represent a local community organization or business? We’ll be accepting reservations for a booth on our Treat Trail very soon. Make sure you’re watching our social media or emails so you don’t miss out.

Hey neighbors! If you like having a more engaged, informed, and vibrant community, you can make a huge impact by joining your neighbors in giving $5 or more a month to the leanest, hardest working all-volunteer nonprofit in the neighborhood.
