A Few Hundred Less Cigarette Butts in Skyway Now, Thanks to Volunteers

  Event    West Hill Action Mob

by Devin Chicras

The streets of Skyway are much cleaner after our West Hill Action Mob Annual Fall Cleanup thanks to a dozen neighbors who gave up their Saturday morning to tackle litter, drink coffee and make new friends.

About 15 giant bags of trash, possibly thousands of cigarette butts, and several large items were removed from Renton Avenue South between 75th and 76th (which spans the entire southern half of the business district).

Thanks to King County Community Work Program for the extra litter grabbers and for scheduling the pickup of our giant pile.
